02. Morality zero
Greedy eyes, focused just to value
Wide-open hands ready to appropriate
Lack of guilt makes everything go smooth
Is our only purpose to boundlessly consume?
“If it makes you happy it’s not wrong”
Another ridiculous lie planted for the mass to absorb
In the world of shut ears and covered eyes
Rightful moral values so hard to find
03. Full (dis)closure
Blinded by conformity, I accept everything
I let the world pass right in front of my eyes
Random images reflect new chances and
Every second I have wasted in this life
Heavy punches in the chest to wake what’s left inside
Sharp nail in the skin to refresh old sparks
Along with the heartbeats, there’s always hope
For this machine to breed new life
It takes one step to change your mind
But it takes a lot more to pave the right track
I am human and we all make mistakes
It doesn’t matter how you fall, it matters how you land
No more lies, no more self-pretense
I am the one setting myself in these traps
Every denial strengthens the web of illusions
Cut it through and seek for the right solution
04. Foundation crack
A sudden opportunity to finally touch the change
Immediately got ruined by your selfish claims
Of the way it used to be, of the way you used to live
“Please! We heard enough!”
Can it really be so hard to cope with the present youth
To embrace new generations, to encourage new potentials
Don’t you think it’s selfish just because of your age
To have my respect and in return to get nothing back
We will be the concrete, to fill your spot
To save this wall from another breakdown
We will be the missing card, to replace you,
To save this pyramid from another crash
FOUNDATION CRACK
See new blood boiling inside these veins
Feel the hair bristling on your skin
Look me in the eyes do you feel the same
Try to remember, what has truly changed?
05. Arrogance diminishes wisdom
Shaken up by your elevated voice, I accept your claims
I allow you to convince me that I was wrong
Why did I let you be my judge and jury
Why have I gave you importance in my life?
I should’ve turned my back in the first place
To avoid this humiliation in advance
They say: “Kindness begets kindness”
But I was wrong about it, with you.
Like the wind underneath window sill
I can feel your judgements sneaking up on me
Cold and unpleasant blades that shiver my skin
Yet invisible for others to see
Marked by your accusations but that will clean
Scarred by your insults but that will heal
For another unstoppable fury of aspersions
I can just close my eyes and wait for the storm to pass
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me
You had your chances, you let them go
I learned my lesson, my conscience is clear
06. The dark passenger
Pushed into the darkness, I frenziedly swing
To take down the curtain, to end this charade
Intentionally I am giving my best to miss
So afraid of what I am about to witness
Blindfolded – some blisters are not meant to be seen
It’s itching but some scabs aren’t meant to be revealed
Hunger that cannot be controlled
Slowly sealing and feeding on my soul
Curiosity, a stimulant to reach further
To expand our horizons and cross new borders
Until we decide to finally stop or take one more step
To unlock the door yet, there is no turning back
Struck down by insolation, I am trying to save
Rainy cloud over my head that’s thundering some hope
In new shape, I stride against the flow
With every next step, grabbing new dawn
